Multicommerce Developments Underpin Next Phase of Growth for Payment Facility
Twelve months after making its debut at last year’s World Travel Market (WTM) travel technology software specialists Multicom (www.multicom.co.uk) has announced further developments to its virtual card payment system MultiCommerce.
MultiCommerce has sparked the interest of a number of travel businesses with attractive features such as the option of using either single use credit cards or pre-paid cards and access to support of more than 25 currencies, reducing card surcharge fees and foreign exchange costs.
Monster Travel, Sunvil and Ski Weekends are just three of those currently already benefitting from the PCI-DSS compliant system that provides reduced transaction costs and reconciliation headaches associated with supplier payments, with several leading new travel customers in the pipeline.
Further developments are due to be announced before the year-end as Multicom push ahead with its aim of positioning MultiCommerce as the premier choice of virtual card payment solution.
Multicom Managing Director John Howell said: “Ensuring MultiCommerce is positioned to maximise the opportunities that smart technology can provide for travel businesses is key to our future growth.
